Friendship Network – where people recovering from mental illness connect with each other and make friends

If you are 20 years or older and feel lonely or isolated because you suffer from a mental illness such as an anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder (aka manic depression), body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), borderline personality disorder (BPD), depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, phobias such as agoraphobia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, social anxiety disorder, or any other mood, personality, or mental health disorder, the NAMI Queens/Nassau-sponsored program FRIENDSHIP NETWORK is for you. Serving the five boroughs of New York City (Queens, Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Brooklyn), Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk County), Westchester County and Northern New Jersey, the Friendship Network is a unique not-for-profit organization which introduces men and women recovering from mental illness to one another.
